How to temporarily use the testing extension.
This procedure is not recommended, as it is a manual method of installing extensions. Please use at your own risk.
The following are the steps to temporarily upgrade the extension to the testing version.
Please use this method only temporarily until the issue with the stream recorder is resolved.
Note that the following steps may not work on the beta or Canary versions of Google Chrome.
First, open the extensions page and follow these steps in order:
1. Turn off the current version of the Stream Recorder.
2. Enable developer mode.
3. Download the following version of the extension and unzip it.
4. Press the button below and specify the unzipped folder to install the extension.
5. If you see the following screen, the testing extension has been successfully installed.
6. When the issue is resolved, be sure to delete this testing version and re-enable the original extension.
7. Disable developer mode.
